A little Sunday afternoon work to help a client meet their property closing deadline!

Over time, gable vent screens can become rusted, brittle, and deteriorated, creating easy entry points for bats, mice, and other unwanted pests to access attics and cause significant damage.

Once the wildlife has been safely removed, we install durable, heavy-gauge perforated metal covers over the existing vents. I wanted to share a quick look at some real termite activity we’ve been finding in homes around the Kansas City area.

A lot of people have never actually seen termite evidence before, so I figured this would be helpful. The mud tubes you see in this video are one of the big things we look for during an inspection.
