They each received $1,000 and the coveted Trades Hammer at the VRHS Senior Scholarship and Awards Ceremony at the High school on May 24, 2023.

In honor of hashtag , we are excited to launch PLPS Community Cares, which provides an outlet for PLPS employees to assist charitable organizations with fundraising and volunteering efforts. We're kicking off this program with multiple projects throughout the organization. If you would like to help, email [email protected]:

*Our Long Island plants are doing a toy drive for Toys of Hope., which supports over 65,000 needy children, their families, and their pets every year.
*Our plants in Lakewood, NJ, Red Lion, PA, and Old Saybrook are working with various chapters of the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation.
*Our Little Falls and Fairfield, NJ, plants are working with The Youth Project (TYP), selling gift boxes that will go directly to needy and at-risk children via Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child. In addition, the money raised from the boxes will be donated to Destiny Rescue, whose mission is to rescue children from sexual exploitation and human trafficking and help them stay free

Drop off new, unwrapped toys to Label One location at 5 Center Road W, Old Saybrook, CT 06475 by December 14th.

MISSION: The basic mission of the Marine Toys for Tots Program is to collect new unwrapped toys and distribute those toys to less fortunate children at Christmas.

GOAL: The primary goal of Marine Toys for Tots is, through the gift of a new toy, help bring the joy of Christmas and send a message of hope to America’s less fortunate children.

OVERVIEW: In order to better execute the Program, in 1991 the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation was created at the behest of the Marine Corps.

FOUNDATION OVERVIEW: The Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, is an IRS recognized 501(c)(3) not-for-profit public charity which was created at the behest of the U. S. Marine Corps in 1991.
