Today at BNI River Delta, Ed Cassella of Cloutier & Cassella, LLC Attorneys at Law shared some amazing information as the real estate attorney in our chapter.
While many people think of a real estate attorney as someone who simply handles closings, Ed showed us that his work extends far beyond the closing table. He discussed shoreline zoning issues, land use regulations, wetlands concerns, property development challenges, and the importance of understanding local planning and zoning requirements.
For those of us living along the Connecticut shoreline, issues involving seasonal-to-year-round property conversions, septic requirements, wetlands regulations, and zoning approvals can become complicated very quickly. Having an experienced attorney who understands these unique challenges can save property owners time, money, and frustration.
Ed also shared how his firm assists clients with residential and commercial real estate transactions, subdivision matters, zoning and land use issues, and navigating local and municipal regulations.
One of the biggest takeaways was that many property issues can be avoided or resolved more effectively when you involve the right professionals early in the process.
Thank you, Ed, for an informative and educational presentation today!
