Today, Emily Armistead and Lillian Pannell were awarded The Tom and Shirley Linville Children of First Responders Scholarship! Both girls are continuing their education at The University of Mississippi. Both wrote incredible essays on the example that was set before them having parents in the fire service. The energy and drive they both have is electric!!

A1 Fire Protection is seeking to hire a full time Steam Cleaning/shop technician. This is an entry level position with possible growth within the company. Hours differ between customers. Applicant must be able to work in all weather conditions, lift 80lbs, work off ladders/ fork-lift, strong self-driven work ethic and able to work nights, if needed.

Responsibilities:
Kitchen exhaust system cleaning
Maintain precise documentation of maintenance and reporting
Plan and organize work
Clean shop and workspace
Take out trash
Repair and maintain fire extinguishers

Applicant must be at least 17 years old with a valid driver license. Education- High school diploma.

Greysen Davis is a recipient of The Tom and Shirley Linville Children of First Responders Scholarship presented by A1 Fire Protection, Inc.! Greysen is graduating from North Point Christian School, and she will attend North West Community College in the fall to study radiologic science. Greysen is the daughter of Lieutenant Justin Davis of Olive Branch Fire Department. Greysen said when she hears sirens and worries for her dad, she leans on 1 Peter 5:7 “Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.” She also says trusting God is a big thing when you’re the child of a first responder. We at A1 understand what it’s like to pray and have faith in God for our hero!

Greysen, we can’t wait to see what all you accomplish! Congratulations!! 🎉

Addison Kramer is a recipient of The Tom and Shirley Linville Children of First Responders Scholarship presented by A1 Fire Protection Service, Inc.! Addison is graduating from Hernando High School, and she plans to attend the University of Mississippi in the fall majoring in Accounting. She has a GPA of 4.7, and she is a part of the National Honor Society, Diamond Girls, Interact Club, amongst other clubs at Hernando High School. Addison is the daughter of Robert E. Kramer, Jr. who serves Memphis Fire Department. Her stepfather, Steve Atkinson, serves as a police investigator for DeSoto County Schools, as well!

Addison, take on the world with your education as your closest friend. Congratulations!!
