We want to take a moment to thank our fearless leader, Gabriel Atkinson, for his dedication, vision, hard work, and commitment in leading Atkinson Propane into its 54th year of business.
Atkinson Propane has only been in the hands of two men since its beginning in 1972 — founder Ramiro Atkinson and now his son, Gabriel Atkinson. That legacy, tradition, and commitment to serving the Rio Grande Valley continues today stronger than ever.
Gabriel has always believed in serving the community first. Through every season, every storm, every freeze, and every challenge, he has worked tirelessly to keep propane trucks on the road and ensure homes, ranches, farms, and businesses across the Rio Grande Valley have propane within ready reach at fair and competitive prices.
More than just an owner, Gabriel is a respected leader, mentor, friend, and a man who genuinely cares about the people and communities he serves. His work ethic, loyalty, and dedication to both customers and employees are what continue to make Atkinson Propane a trusted name throughout South Texas.
As we move forward into the future, we are excited for what is ahead while continuing to honor the legacy that built this company.
And while others may carry the Atkinson name, there is only ONE original Atkinson Propane — the company founded in 1972 and proudly owned and operated today by Gabriel Atkinson.
