🎉 HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY, GABRIEL ATKINSON! 🎉

September 18th marked another year of life for Gabriel Atkinson, the man at the head of Atkinson Propane.

We may be a couple of days late, but we couldn't let the occasion pass without recognizing the man who continues to lead Atkinson Propane and carry on its commitment to serving families throughout the Rio Grande Valley.

From all of us at the Atkinson Propane Social Media Team, we wish Gabriel a very Happy Belated Birthday! 🎂🎉

May this next year bring many more blessings, good health, great memories, and continued success.

Happy Birthday, Gabriel! Here’s to many more! 🎈🎂

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and everyone affected by this heartbreaking loss. ❤️🙏

❤️‍🩹HAPPY HEARTS COMMUNITY FUNDRAISER❤️‍🩹

Over the weekend, our community learned about the heartbreaking loss of four members of a local family in San Benito, TX. This tragedy has directly affected one of our own Happy Hearts teachers. 😞💔

She is grieving the loss of her family while also assuming responsibility for the three surviving minors who are now in her care. Out of respect for her privacy during this unimaginable time, we will not be sharing her name.

The Happy Hearts family is organizing a Chicken Plate Benefit to help with funeral expenses, the children’s immediate needs, and the many unexpected financial responsibilities that now lay ahead.

🔥 LOCAL • RELIABLE • TRUSTED SINCE 1972 🔥

Atkinson Propane — Fueling the Rio Grande Valley for Generations. 🚚⛽🔥

06/01/2026

We want to take a moment to thank our fearless leader, Gabriel Atkinson, for his dedication, vision, hard work, and commitment in leading Atkinson Propane into its 54th year of business.

Atkinson Propane has only been in the hands of two men since its beginning in 1972 — founder Ramiro Atkinson and now his son, Gabriel Atkinson. That legacy, tradition, and commitment to serving the Rio Grande Valley continues today stronger than ever.

Gabriel has always believed in serving the community first. Through every season, every storm, every freeze, and every challenge, he has worked tirelessly to keep propane trucks on the road and ensure homes, ranches, farms, and businesses across the Rio Grande Valley have propane within ready reach at fair and competitive prices.

More than just an owner, Gabriel is a respected leader, mentor, friend, and a man who genuinely cares about the people and communities he serves. His work ethic, loyalty, and dedication to both customers and employees are what continue to make Atkinson Propane a trusted name throughout South Texas.

As we move forward into the future, we are excited for what is ahead while continuing to honor the legacy that built this company.

And while others may carry the Atkinson name, there is only ONE original Atkinson Propane — the company founded in 1972 and proudly owned and operated today by Gabriel Atkinson.

Thank you, Gabriel, for your leadership and for continuing the legacy of the ORIGINAL Atkinson Propane.

🔥 54 YEARS STRONG — SERVING THE RIO GRANDE VALLEY 🔥

For 54 years, Atkinson Propane has proudly served the Rio Grande Valley — not just as a company, but as a family legacy built on hard work, trust, and community.

Atkinson Propane was founded by Ramiro G. Atkinson, who built the business from the ground up with long days, honest service, and a simple belief:

👉 take care of your customers like family.

Through the years, that commitment earned the trust of generations across the RGV.

Today, Gabriel Atkinson continues carrying his father’s vision forward — leading the company with the same values, the same work ethic, and the same dedication to serving every home, ranch, and business with pride.

From bottle fills… to residential deliveries… to commercial service…
We’re honored to still be the propane company families rely on year after year.

Locally owned.
Family operated.
54 years strong — and still going. ❤️

Thank you, Rio Grande Valley, for trusting our family to serve yours.
