Happy World Teachers’ Day!

Today, we’re celebrating the teachers who inspire curiosity, encourage exploration, and help guide the next generation.

For Hornbeck Boats, this day has a special meaning. Our founders, Peter and Ann Hornbeck, were both teachers. Their passion for education, the outdoors, and helping others experience the Adirondacks became an important part of the foundation of Hornbeck Boats.

Today, we’re grateful for all the teachers, educators, mentors, and school staff who continue to make a difference every day.

Thank you for inspiring the next generation of adventurers!

We’re looking for ideas for blog posts, videos, how-to guides, and tips that would be useful to the Hornbeck community.

Maybe you want to know more about:

• Getting the most out of your Hornbeck
• Tips for carrying and transporting your boat
• Paddling techniques
• Camping and backcountry setups
• Fishing from your Hornbeck
• Gear recommendations
• Boat care and maintenance
• Different Hornbeck models and how they compare
• Paddling with your dog
• Favorite Adirondack destinations
• Packing your boat for an overnight trip
• Tips for getting in and out of your boat
• Accessories and how to use them
• Or something completely different!

What question have you always wanted us to answer?

Drop your ideas in the comments below. 👇 We may just turn your question into our next video or blog post!

And if you have a Hornbeck tip or trick of your own, share that too. We’d love to hear what our owners have learned out on the water.

Your questions help us create better content for the entire Hornbeck community.

Help us wish Andy Rasmus a very Happy Birthday!

Andy is our Pack Boat Sales Leader and has been an important part of the Hornbeck team since 2019. If you’ve called, emailed, visited, or stopped by for a demo, there’s a good chance you’ve had the opportunity to work with Andy.

When he’s not helping customers find the right Hornbeck, you’ll likely find him talking boats, sharing paddling advice, working on our website and social media, or getting out on the water himself.

From all of us at Hornbeck Boats, Happy Birthday, Andy!

We hope your day includes good company, great food, and—of course—some time on the water.

Cheers to another year of adventures!

At first look, an anchor is just a heavy weight tied to a rope, but is that all? We get to the bottom of the heavy weight boating accessory.

Happy International Coffee Day!

There are few things better than that first cup of coffee in the morning.

Except maybe enjoying that coffee somewhere you had to paddle to get to.

A Hornbeck, a paddle, a thermos of your favorite coffee, and a quiet Adirondack lake… sounds like a pretty good way to start the day to us.

Whether you're sipping it at home, at camp, or taking a morning coffee break on the water, we hope you find a little time today to slow down, enjoy the journey, and savor the moment.

Because sometimes the best coffee is the coffee you worked a little harder to reach.
