Sometimes the hardest lesson in relationships isn’t whether someone heard you.
It’s recognizing that they did.
When we’ve explained, reminded, asked, pleaded, or hoped long enough, we eventually face a difficult reality:
Words matter, but patterns matter more.
Pay attention to what people consistently do, not just what they promise, intend, or say.
That doesn’t mean becoming bitter.
It means becoming clear.
The question isn’t whether they heard you.
The question is:
What are you going to do with the answer?
