Appreciate Rep. Cody for sponsoring, and Governor Inslee for signing, a bill for my client - The Polyclinic. We worked to allow for Ambulatory Surgical Centers to continue their great work without having to retroactively go through a cumbersome and expensive Certificate of Need process.

A good, little bill to make Medicaid reimbursement rates at small, rural hospitals more equitable. If we are going to provide health care access to the poorest communities in our state, the state needs to reimburse these small, rural hospitals at a rate that can sustain the services.

Thanks to Sen. Rebecca Saldaña for taking time to visit DaVita’s Olympic View Dialysis Center in Seattle. Hypertension and diabetes are two of the greatest causes for kidney failure. Prevention is critical but glad to represent DaVita who provides 5-Star service (out of 5 stars) when dialysis is needed.

A few years ago we began the process of modernizing WA's laws as they relate to Dental Support Organizations. Great to have my clients from Pacific Dental Services here today to watch Governor Inslee sign the bill into law. A lot of work but a great outcome. Thanks to all the legislators who put in the time and effort to preserve a dentists right to choose what practice model works best for them and their patients.
