Grant Services & Relationship Specialist
Classification: Full-time, Non-Supervisory, Salary

Duties and Responsibilities
Grant Writing (55%):
• Generate revenue through timely submission of well-researched, well-written, and well-documented grant/funding proposals according to funder requirements.
• As a primary grant writer for proposals to state and federal government, foundations, and corporations - craft high-quality, compelling, and successful letters of inquiry, proposals, grant applications.
• Apply a strong understanding of nonprofit financial documents including operating/program budgets, financials, audits, and 990s.
• Develop and maintain thorough familiarity of mission, vision, values, and daily operations to effectively develop, integrate and align current and prospective grant-writing strategy.
• Meet or exceed annual goals for revenue and number of applications submitted.
• Develop standard proposal language for general operating support and programmatic areas.
• Provide ongoing communication and excellent services, directly to clients, to positively represent Fox Creek and sustain/grow client base and improve capacity for agencies.
Grant Management (20%):
• Develop and maintain grant application schedules, including submission and reporting deadlines, to be used for applying for and reporting on grants.
• Assist in identifying and developing strategies to optimize the grants administration and tracking process.
• Provide regular and ad hoc reports to agency leadership and Fox Creek team, as well as responding to emerging inquiries, including monthly tracking and forecasting.
• Keep relevant staff informed about upcoming deadlines and deliverables, thereby ensuring a smooth completion of work responsibilities.
• Collaborate with agency leaders on budget plans in accordance with each grant requirement.
• Provide training to appropriate staff on grants management and reporting requirements.
Funder Relationship Management (15%):
• Perform relevant research to identify available grant opportunities and evaluate the results.
• Research effective and authentic funding opportunities having a lawful registration and proven track record.
• Coordinate research, identification, application, tracking, and reporting processes for grants that align with priorities and strategic goals.
• Review and contribute to foundation prospect list to expand and grow funding diversification
• Develop an annual plan each fiscal year, in alignment with the grant strategy for each agency.
Administrative Management (10%):
• Provide billing, no less than 80% hours per week unless agreed upon, every two weeks (1st & 16th) to Fox Creek designated representative
• Maintain files in a confidential and organized fashion, in accordance with Fox Creek guidelines
• Provide receipts for any reimbursable and/or company expenses
• Other duties as assigned

Educational & Experience Requirements
The minimum educational qualification required for this position is a bachelor's degree and two years of experience in nonprofit development.
