Primary Duties and Responsibilities

· Design, develop, and maintain our future and existing web applications, using Java and leveraging numerous industry standard frameworks

· Provide innovative technical input to evolve existing products and create new products

· Lead and mentor other developers on best practices, code reviews, internal tools and process improvements

Required Skills and Experience

· 5+ years Java/J2EE experience

· Deep understanding of RESTful API Design

· Strong relational database skills

· Solid experience with the following frameworks/technologies: Spring MVC, Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate

· Experience in unit testing and functional testing with Junit and a mocking framework

· Expert in object oriented development, component based development, patterns and design for reuse

· Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented and creative environment

· Ability to effectively communicate with client technical teams and brand teams

· Ability to work as part of a team and independently

· Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.

Preferred Skills and Experience

· Experience in consuming SOAP based Web Services

EXPECTATIONS ABOUT THE POSITION
As a JavaScript Developer (need 3-5 years of working experience for this), provide overall development and collaboration to support the FANX mobile app and portal products. Share and participate in the furthering of the product roadmap. Primary development role in JavaScript frameworks and backend node.js services. This position supports and enhances the content management portal that clients use to administer their mobile app.
