We were thrilled to share this special moment alongside great community leaders and friends, including the Mayor, the Consul of Mexico, Senator Tony Vargas, the academy's incredible staff, and their students.

This project started a few years ago as a simple community idea, with the immediate support of the local police department, fire department, State Farm, and a local clinic—just coming together to educate and help people with expert guidance.

The response from the community was incredible, and it naturally grew into monthly trainings. Before long, we were invited outside of Omaha and began traveling across Nebraska, Iowa, and even Oklahoma to continue sharing this information.

Today, this project is officially a nonprofit organization, and we’re truly grateful to see how far it has come.

Thank you to every expert who has joined us along the way, and to every community member who continues to show up, learn, and stay informed. That has always been the mission: real education, with real professionals, for real life situations. 🙏

One local organization hosts event to inform residents in Spanish-speaking communities what to do in the minutes after a car accident

Nuevamente tendremos un entrenamiento de accidentes de auto. Todos estamos expuestos, y lo más importante es estar preparados, conocer nuestros derechos y obligaciones para saber cómo actuar después de un accidente.

Este es un esfuerzo que desde hace 5 años se ha venido realizando para informar y ayudar a nuestra comunidad, en colaboración con el Departamento de Policía, el Departamento de Bomberos, así como expertos médicos y legales.

Porque no importa nuestro estatus migratorio o idioma, todos tenemos derechos y debemos estar preparados para tomar decisiones correctas después de un accidente y saber dónde buscar ayuda.

Queremos agradecer a la National Latino Peace Officers Association (NLPOA) Omaha por la invitación a participar en su evento comunitario de Pascua. Para nosotros es un honor poder estar presentes y compartir con nuestra comunidad junto a los oficiales que trabajan día a día por la seguridad de Omaha.

Este es un evento familiar y gratuito donde las familias podrán disfrutar de una búsqueda de huevitos de Pascua, convivir con oficiales y fortalecer la relación entre la comunidad y la policía.

We would like to thank the National Latino Peace Officers Association (NLPOA) Omaha for inviting us to take part in their community Easter event. It is an honor to be present and share with our community alongside the officers who work every day to keep Omaha safe.

This is a free family event where families can enjoy an Easter egg hunt, connect with officers, and help strengthen the relationship between law enforcement and the community.
