On June 14, 2025, people gathered in Council Bluffs, Iowa, and marched across the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge into Omaha, Nebraska. The bridge serves as a functional link between the two cities. Among the crowd were individuals who are committed to improving our community, our country, and the world. Speak out for those who cannot and assist those in need.

“Instead of breaking our families apart, let’s fix our broken immigration system,” said Bro. Edgar DeLeon to WOWT.

“Families that protest together keep democracy alive together. Both Friday and Saturday protests had amazing turnout, zero issues, and wrapped up peacefully.” Bro. Roger Garcia.

The “No Kings” protest in Omaha drew an estimated crowd of roughly 10,000 people, according to organizers. It was part of a larger nationwide movement against the Trump administration, with similar demonstrations taking place in other cities. In Lincoln, for example, a crowd of about 2,000 protesters gathered.
