Midwest Prefabrication Inc. Midwest Prefabrication Inc. is an offsite independant electrical prefabrication company in Omaha NE.

With over 50 years of combined electrical experience, Brad Martin and Derek Baker, have formed a new independent Electrical Prefabrication shop in Omaha, NE. Brad Martin has served as Senior Manager -Project coordinator for the last several years at one of Omaha’s larger electrical contractors as well as his many years in the field as a general foreman Journeyman electrician. Derek Baker spent many years in the field as a foreman Journeyman electrician before becoming Operations - Prefab Manager for the last several years at the same Omaha based contractor. Together with our combined skills, (LEAN) methodologies in a specifically designed and controlled shop environment , we will use well maintained specialty tools and efficient procedures to help offset onsite labor costs with offsite skilled professionals. How to cope with the electrician shortage?
Outsource tasks that take up your electricians’ time!
We have been able to support large scope projects down to simple overflow of contractors with internal fab shops who are experiencing manpower shortages.
We have talked to 100s of owners and project managers at Electrical Companies and other Companies that handle Commercial & Industrial Electrical projects and what I've found is that most of them have a strong desire to increase efficiency with their onsite manpower, lower costs and speed their jobs to completion BUT they have a bunch of ways they're attempting to do these things already, and even though they aren't seeing the amount of progress that they actually want-- they've expressed to me that they are so busy that they don't have time to get outside of the day to day whirlwind and strategically put in place solutions they that know would be much more effective then how they're doing it now.
