This could be the last load of firewood delivered, stacked and cared for in the summer of 2026?

Summers in northern Michigan are special. I have said over the years that people in Michigan know how to live SUMMER!!! This season goes by fast and we like to help our customers enjoy the Burn with our dry hand sized split hardwood.

This DMP9 chucked full of Oak, Maple, Black Ash and Poplar found its home on Mullet Lake.

I am thankful for the motivation provided by our customers, my Mom, my GF, the Rough Cuts', and fellow entrepreneur's out there (you know who you are) this ignites the spark in the morning and the dreams at night. God bless!!!

Wednesday's WOOD WORD AVE M-1

Started towards 2027... Expansion!!!

We are very close to finishing Phase 2 of expanding our covered drying areas for split and dry hardwood.

Did you know White Oak can take up to 24 months to season (reach a moisture content of 20% or less) ? Now you do!! ๐Ÿ˜†

To help that process we have built this Lean Two at our assembly and distribution location. Plus we have used another technique to help the wood dry faster.
Premium Oak is coming in 2027 for our customers!

CBJ and Community Service.

This is something I do once a year. This is NOT a contractual agreement with payment for services rendered.

A gentleman called, not a customer, and asked if the Rough Cuts' could remove downed tree logs from his house in the City limits.

I agreed to help. You may be able to find John's review on the CBJ Network! There were logs, piles of rounds, limbs and stumps. There is a lot of cleanup removal.

Three trips sawing, loading and hauling was the pro bono service provided. It's always good to help a person in need, when you yourself are mentally, physically and emotionally healthy.

Stay well friends! Get off the couch get on the trails and walk with a friend and carry a walking stick!

Sale Alert - shoppers on ile 3 we have.....

It's not like a Blue ๐Ÿ”ต light special from K-Mart. However for the first time in five years CBJ and the Rough Cuts' have combined Atlanta's Resale Treasures Your resale store with bargins galore and on site is a Firewood Sale... complete with Marque signage!!! Hahaha.

Located just West of the traffic signal in downtown Atlanta is the Pink Firewood Stand where we have a free Kindling bundle when four premium hardwood bundles are purchased at the same time!!!

Come on down!!! Hahaha, love what I get to do!

This Rough Cut' took a time out on Saturday and went to the Nautical Festival in Downtown Rogers City where I viewed the many Classic Cars, watched the Nowicki's Brat eating contest and got to see my favorite BIG TIME WRASLING!!!

Bazinga!!!! Fun with Banner Flags!!!

We are celebrating a New Banner flag at the Nuska's Corner at M-32 and M-65 in Lachine.

Stop in and say hello and look at the variety of items in the store. Plus the pavement just got coated! LoL

There is lots of summer to enjoy a campfire pick up a couple of CBJ bundles and our famous Cedar Kindling bundle!
