PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
MAX MCR BLACK A/B is an unfilled medium working time, low viscosity potting compound resin system for embedding or encapsulating printed circuit boards (PCB), relays, coils, and other electronic or electrical circuitry. MAX MCR A/B is low in viscosity and is room temperature cured. It is mixed 2:1 by weight or by volume and provides a 30-minute working time (200-gram mass).

Upon cure, MAX MCR is completely waterproof and electrically non-conductive. It offers a very high gloss finish blemish free surface. It cures hard but tough compound that is suitable for small to medium parts without excessive exothermic heat generation (up to 1 pound). It has a 30-minute working time when mixed up to 200-gram mass.

This may be one of the largest epoxy resin-project on the planet Earth. Yes, it uses more epoxy resin than you can imagine in constructing the Falcon 9 Rockets. My job takes me to some of the coolest places on the planet.

The new coffee table at SpaceX Hawthorne lobby or I call it "Sacred-Ground furniture." It was a grid fin for the Falcon 9 first-stage rocket used for guidance during Earth reentry and recovery. This is cast in pure titanium and probably weighs 300 to 560 kilos.

The place has a new palpable vibe after taking the last US Astro-dudes to the ISS in OG-style (no more smell of borscht and holodeck, no offenses comrades), and the continued successful delivery of the Star Link-satellites.

I wasn't ready for the next level-security..it required a cavity search.. and when I asked, which one? she just smiled back. 😳
