So grateful for my clients and the kind feedback I often get 💕

And yes, I work with any budget for materials! Having a lower budget or even no budget for materials doesn’t mean organizing isn’t possible. There’s always a way, and often involves lots of purging and reusing bins or products you might already have on hand 👍🏼

What’s your system when you declutter your house? 🤔

Here’s one system us Tidy Gals follow in 4 simple steps✨
1) pick a space
2) evaluate items
3) separate items
4) put away items (store/donate/throw away)

Once you finish one area, move onto the next! And before you know it, you’ll have an organized and tidy home!

TIDY GAL TIP: If you’re a beginner, START SMALL and focus on ONE SPACE at a time! Starting off with a big project can get overwhelming and sometimes become neglected and forgotten, leaving you with more mess! Instead, start off small and easy then gradually challenge yourself to do more 🙌🏽

Started off by taking everything out and purging all unusable, expired, and trash items. All the other items were categorized by function, size, and how frequently the item is used.

New storage bins and drawers were added to create a more functional and organized space for all items.

Playroom 🔄 Dining Room Transformation (Part 2)

Kid’s Playroom but make it ✨ functional ✨

Keeping your child’s space functional with age-appropriate books & toys can make a HUGE difference. It encourages their learning, creativity, AND encourages them to stay tidy!

Cube Shelf: We first went through all the books and set ones aside that are going to be donated. Then, we categorized their books by series, grade level, subject, and style while also keeping the bulky and heaviest books towards the bottom of the shelf and the lighter ones on top for easy access. We also utilized cube storage bins to make the space look cleaner and mess-free!

TIDY GIRL TIP:
Use cube storage bins to keep your items organized AND hidden! Sometimes things like toys, DVD's, electronics, and other household items aren't the most flattering to look at even when they're organized. When you use cube storage bins, it eliminates the business of the items and keeps everything unison.

This bedroom & dining room transformation tho 👀✨

Our client just moved into their new home and needed help settling in. Check out the before and after pictures above to see the amazing room transformations and furniture pieces we built!

BEDROOM - We unpacked all the boxes and bags of clothing, categorized them, and hung them up in the closet. We made space for a shoe rack towards the bottom of the closet and utilized the top shelf space for storage.

DINING ROOM & STORAGE - For the dining room, we saw that it was best to rearrange furniture, purge/donate items, and create a more functional and accessible storage system for the client. After lots of editing and downsizing, we were able to clear off their tabletops, create a more open floor plan, and make room for a new desk too!
