Malama Da ‘Āina means to Take Care of the Land. This Hawaiian phrase was constantly said throughout my childhood and has stuck with me ever since. We don’t have to be perfect in living a completely sustainable life, but we should all put forth small eco-friendly practices to help our ‘Āina — our land.
