Skibbereen Farm

We are beyond excited to introduce Mikey as the newest member of our Skibbereen family. He is as sweet and gentle as they come and exceptionally handsome as well. We can not wait to see what the future holds for this little star ⭐️

The hardest part about loving our horses too much to where we never let them leave so they never find themselves in a bad spot at the end of their life, is that there does come a time when they have to leave us.

Winnie came to us about a decade ago, and although she would let her s***k and naughtiness pop out on occasion, she became our walk/trot/ beginner canter master. She was the one we trusted to put our absolute littlest ones on. She loved being the gold medalist 🥇of the Leadline Olympics and was the best of sports when we would dress her up as anything from Granny and Little Red Riding Hood to Alvin & the chipmunks.

To say she has been a staple of the Skibbereen program would be a tremendous understatement and she will be terribly missed. Our hearts are broken today. 💔💔💔
