At the Entrepreneurship Institute we take pride in our ability to integrate with the business community, government support organizations and other private business organizations supporting entrepreneurship education and research. These entrepreneurship and economic development organizations work with us in our classes and in our extra curricular activities providing content, mentoring, judging an
d financial support. The majority of entrepreneurship learning takes place through hands-on projects where students learn by doing, reflecting, and synthesizing their experience. These projects involve students in identifying, evaluating and executing real business opportunities for themselves or clients from the business community. Integrating the broader business community with the students classroom experience brings a true sense of reality to the educational experience. The entrepreneurship program at UVU covers a wide range of valuable information for anyone who wants to develop their own business opportunities.
