If Belgian Malinois came with subtitles, I’m not convinced we’d survive reading them.

Until then, here’s our interpretation of what was going through Draco’s head during this search. 😂

Draco is our 1.5-year-old Belgian Malinois and an AWDA third-party certified mold detection K9 alongside his handler, Daria.

In this training exercise, Daria intentionally walked him past this hide on the way to another one without giving his search command or any indication that it was time to work. Draco had other plans. He caught odor anyway and immediately got to work sourcing it.

This is exactly why we emphasize certification, training, and the relationship between dog and handler. The best results come from a team that trusts each other and work together seamlessly.

And Draco? He’s equal parts brilliance, raw talent… and absolute chaos.

The chaos isn’t required for the job, but it definitely keeps things interesting. 😂

This is why we do what we do.

This family had already done everything they were told to do.
Multiple rounds of remediation.
