Don’t Forget!

If you live in Cumberland, Hancock, Knox, Lincoln, Sagadahoc, Waldo, Washington or York counties your taxes are due today unless you filed an extension.

Also, your quarter 1&2 estimated taxes are due.

Maine Employers Don't Forget! June 30th is the deadline to register or opt out of the Maine Retirement Program, MERIT.

If you have 5 or more employees this is required or you will be fined. You can opt out if you already offer a retirement plan.

Employees Don't Forget! Once your employer is registered and signs you up, it is your responsibility to opt out every year if you don't want it.

MERIT is an easy to use workplace retirement savings plan for Maine Employees without access to a workplace retirement plan.
