I had the honor of supporting yesterday with this beautiful group of women. Thank you to St. John Nashville for donating a percentage of sales to this amazing nonprofit that’s doing incredible work to empower children facing illness and disability. It was a privilege to donate and be a part of a mission, that brings strength, hope, and a little bit of a superhero magic to so many families. We ended today with breakfast with and saw her beautiful event space in Nashville!

Took a few days to rest, recharge, and spend time with my favorite person. I’ve been reflecting on how deeply grateful I am to share life with a man who not only supports my dreams, but shows up for me and my daughters in a way that only he can.

Our story spans five decades. We met as children- he was five, I was three- through our families. Years later, we reconnected and fell in love while I was in undergrad and he was in grad school. But after graduation, life pulled us in different directions, and being in separate countries made staying together impossible. It was heartbreaking, and eventually, we had to let go.

We moved on. We both got married, had children, and built separate lives. Then, after 28 years without contact, he found me.

Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine we’d get a second chance. But here we are—proof that what’s meant to be will always find its way back. Gods timing is never wrong.
