Heavy rain has caused flooding on roads across Central Florida, and conditions can change quickly. Please do not drive through standing water, even if it looks shallow. Floodwater can hide washed out pavement, debris, and deep spots that are impossible to see from the driver's seat, and flooded roads are even harder to judge at night.

Check FL511 or your local news before heading out, give yourself extra time, and plan a route that avoids low-lying areas. Turn around if you meet a flooded road. If you are in an emergency, call 911 first.
