Hello Parents! I hope all your Knights have settled back in school. These past few days, I had been receiving random questions on my messages on how I operate. I didn’t think anything of it. I asked to clarify the questions but never got a reply. Today, while waiting, I saw a post on my timeline about having another Proxy Mommy. I thought the more, the merrier. I can never truly be available 24/7, 365 days a year. I go on vacations and do have some personal time. But a preview of one of the comments caught my eye as I was mentioned on it. I never want to answer anybody about myself but I thought it was unfair for me to be told to everyone that I did something that I was never even aware that it happened. I looked and checked before replying and found nothing. As I don’t have commercial insurance to transport students, I bring sick Knights to urgent care clinics for free. If I’m in the area but I’m booked, I still try to find ways to squeeze them in or to bring medicine and whatever you ask me to to a sick Knight. I even ask some parents who kind-heartedly were willing to adjust their allotted time to accommodate sick Knights. The only time I couldn’t do it is if I’m out of town or have an emergency. If you noticed, I don’t promote Proxy Mommy. I rely on word of mouth based on experiences of other parents these past couple of years. I think that is the best promotion I can get. I try my best to the best of my ability. I’m sure some of your Knights have seen me all sweaty from running around just to get everything they need to them. I am not saying what was said can’t happen but I try to find ways to accommodate as much as I can. I thank you all for the continued support and please be assured that nothing has changed. I am here as much as I can. That being said, I hope everyone is having a great week and to all our parents who are in the mid-Atlantic region, stay safe. It might not be a bad idea to come see your Knight at this time. I’m sure they will appreciate it.
