I’m sad to say that I have to say goodbye to UCF community for now as my husband is being stationed out of state. It was a great honor serving the UCF community the last 4 years and meeting all of your wonderful children. I was happy to be able to deliver those smiles from you. I have to say, not a single Knight was rude to me at the slightest and it’s a testament to the wonderful parenting you are doing. I will be missing UCF but will be rooting for them physically if there is a game close to us. My two Knight alums will stay in Orlando as both have full time jobs and one is even working at UCF. As always, if you need help or have any questions, please feel free to message and I will try to help the best I can. Thank you, everyone, for all the trust and support through the years. Please stay healthy and safe. Take care!

Hello, Parents! I hope this gets to you in good health. First, I would like to apologize for not updating the page. I ended up staying with my daughter for 3 1/2 months out of the 4 1/2 months she studied abroad. I also want to thank the parents who continued to avail of my service when I’m back in the States and those who reached out to me through direct message. It got really hectic but I’m glad I got to do some of the parents’ special errands. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, my doctor had advised me to stay home as much as I can and minimize interactions with people as I have asthma and is high risk. I won’t be able to make those errands for the time being. But feel free to contact me if needed. I’ll try my best help. Thank you again for your patronage. Hope to be able to see your Knights again soon! Please take care.

Hello, Parents! I hope this reaches you well. My daughter is going to study abroad for the Fall semester and I will be going with her to show her around and get her settled. I will be gone for two months, from Aug. 15th to Oct. 15th. My son, who graduated last December and is working at UCF now, is willing to do errands for you as long as it’s after 5PM. I apologize for the inconvenience this may cause and looking forward to hearing from you when I come back. Please take care.

Hi Parents! Just a heads up, I will be out of the country from April 9th and flying back into Orlando in the evening of the 23rd. My last Knight 😭 will be studying abroad and I will be scouting the city for her so I know where to bring her when she goes. I’m so sorry for any inconvenience this will cause. But if anybody wants me to pick up some goodies for finals after I come back, I will gladly do so. I’ve dealt with jetlag since I was a kid (thanks to a mother that loves to travel), I don’t mind it at all so I’m ready to go starting the 24th. 😁

Parents, I just found out that Facebook hasn’t been sending out notifications. I am really sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. I will try to check my Facebook as often as I can until I figure out what’s going on. I will get back to you as soon as I see your message. Thank you for your understanding and appreciate your patience. Hope everyone is well!

Hello Parents! Finally home and done with all the Valentine deliveries for the day. It started out as a bad day as I sprained my ankle chasing a runaway balloon this morning. 😁 It’s been pretty windy these days here in Orlando. Took some 800mg Motrin and I was good to go. Loved seeing your children’s smiles today. I hope they all enjoyed the goodies you sent them. Thank you. Hope to hear from you again soon! Have a good weekend!

Just a heads up, I will be out of town starting January 24th and will be back Feb. 11th. My husband, who is stationed overseas, is coming back to the States for a conference. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and for the late notice.

Also, I only have a few spots left for Valentine’s Day delivery so please secure your spots now. Thanks and hope everyone had a great long weekend!

Happy New Year, Parents! First, I sincerely apologize if it felt like I’ve fallen off the face of the earth. I came back to Orlando just before my son’s graduation last month. (Ahhh, one down, one to go! And congratulations to the newest Alumni Knights and their parents!) My husband was able to come home just in time for our son’s graduation too. Right after, we went on a cruise and came back Dec. 23rd. I took a nap and woke up with a sore throat and my symptoms escalated really quickly. I had to be rushed to Urgent Care Christmas night as my temperature went up to almost 104 and even after being wrapped with two heavy blankets, I was still shivering when it was a comfortable 75 in the house. My family was in shorts and shirts. Tested positive for flu and was given a round of Tamiflu. Long story short, I spent the holidays in bed. But I’m feeling so much better now, still has a bit of coughing once in a while and still haven’t gotten my full voice back but otherwise, I’m recovering. I hope everyone’s Knights are having a great first week. Just know that I’m here if you need me.

Hello, Parents! I hope this reaches you well. I just want to let you know that due to unforeseen family matters, I will be out-of-town from October 27th until December 7th. I am really sorry for the inconvenience this may cause. If you have made arrangements with me, please be assured they will be fulfilled. Thank you all for understanding.

Hello Parents! I hope all your Knights have settled back in school. These past few days, I had been receiving random questions on my messages on how I operate. I didn’t think anything of it. I asked to clarify the questions but never got a reply. Today, while waiting, I saw a post on my timeline about having another Proxy Mommy. I thought the more, the merrier. I can never truly be available 24/7, 365 days a year. I go on vacations and do have some personal time. But a preview of one of the comments caught my eye as I was mentioned on it. I never want to answer anybody about myself but I thought it was unfair for me to be told to everyone that I did something that I was never even aware that it happened. I looked and checked before replying and found nothing. As I don’t have commercial insurance to transport students, I bring sick Knights to urgent care clinics for free. If I’m in the area but I’m booked, I still try to find ways to squeeze them in or to bring medicine and whatever you ask me to to a sick Knight. I even ask some parents who kind-heartedly were willing to adjust their allotted time to accommodate sick Knights. The only time I couldn’t do it is if I’m out of town or have an emergency. If you noticed, I don’t promote Proxy Mommy. I rely on word of mouth based on experiences of other parents these past couple of years. I think that is the best promotion I can get. I try my best to the best of my ability. I’m sure some of your Knights have seen me all sweaty from running around just to get everything they need to them. I am not saying what was said can’t happen but I try to find ways to accommodate as much as I can. I thank you all for the continued support and please be assured that nothing has changed. I am here as much as I can. That being said, I hope everyone is having a great week and to all our parents who are in the mid-Atlantic region, stay safe. It might not be a bad idea to come see your Knight at this time. I’m sure they will appreciate it.
