Sleep comes in waves, and if you miss a wave, trust that eventually there’ll be another wave on its way, just like the waves in the ocean.

Can you learn to ride the waves? 🌊

If you keep saying “I’ve tried everything to sleep,” this is probably why you’re still stuck.

Say hello to *sleep effort* (sleep’s #1 enemy).

The more effort you put into sleeping, the more that you try to force sleep to happen, or the harder you try to sleep, the more elusive sleep becomes (and the more frustated or anxious you’ll feel).

Ironically, the women struggling the most with their sleep are usually the ones trying the hardest to “fix” it.

When you learn to allow—instead of force sleep, that’s when everything shifts. 💫

Sleep starts with safety.

Link in bio to work with me 1:1 or feel free to DM me for more details about my sleep telehealth practice.

Also, I have a brand new program teaching you exactly how to break the sleep effort-insomnia cycle (so you can finally sleep with ease) coming soon! Stay tuned🤍

Dogs don’t stay awake worrying about whether they’ll sleep tonight. They don’t overthink tomorrow. They’re always living in the present moment.

Dogs don’t treat rest like something they have to earn. They simply allow it.

A lot of the women I work with don’t just have trouble sleeping. They have a hyper-alert nervous system that forgot how to slow down.

By the time my clients get into bed, their brains are still in “survival mode” feeling mentally alert, activated and disconnected from their body’s natural sleep signals.

If you want true freedom from insomnia, you might consider relearning what puppies already know:

Sleep is a biological process, not a nightly performance.

Stop trying to force sleep, and learn to allow it. 🐶

Also, how cute are these mini Huskies?! Not only did watching these puppies sleep and play in the middle of a yoga class remind me of the importance of staying present and listening to your body, but also the importance of play and social connection for your overall well-being too. 🫶

My mom and I loved every second of this class. Thank you for having us! There were a lot of snuggles. Not a lot of yoga. 🤭🐾💜

From “tired but wired” at 3AM → to a woman who trusts her body to sleep.

I’m on a heart-led mission to help as many women as possible feel like themselves again.🦋

If you have insomnia (trouble falling and/or staying asleep):

You don’t need to “fix” your sleep.

You are not broken.

You don’t need to try harder to sleep.

You need to learn how to restore safety.

The path to overcoming insomnia is not about fixing you or giving you more rules to follow.

It’s about guiding you gently, so your mind and body can feel safe enough to welcome sleep naturally.

If you find yourself wanting deeper support, your next step is just one tap away—it’s all inside the 🔗 in bio✨

You don’t need to “fix” your sleep because fixing implies that something is broken, and you are not broken.

Your ability to sleep is not broken (even if it feels that way right now).

Fixing creates urgency and pressure to sleep, and when there’s pressure to sleep, your brain shifts into stress mode (this is what keeps you awake).

The solution to sleeping well isn’t about fixing sleep or trying harder to sleep, it’s all about restoring safety.

If this lands, I’ve got more content like this coming soon. I’m glad you’re here💜
