Happy new year, folks! My facebook has mysteriously been suspended with no recourse in sight. So I am here testing the IG waters.

It has been a weird year with lots of welcome change and laser focus. All the inner work I have done for the last 7 years while living abroad is coming together. So always bet in favor of your vision for your life. I promise you will never lose. Im excited about 2026. Feliz anos from Mexico!

One of the things I’ve learned to do since living overseas is to make my meals dependent upon what I find in the market the same day. I can’t just meal prep for the week because everything would be rotten in a few days. So I just bought this beautiful bunch of radishes this evening. And tomorrow morning I’ll lightly sauté them with a bunch of garlic along with some tofu scramble. Because I love a good savory breakfast. As for the actual radishes, I’m thinking I’ll make a slaw with purple cabbage, carrots, apple, and onion. Cooking is joyful for me.

This is the face of a woman who has finally moved into an apartment that has perfect internet. I’m so excited. Here’s a tip... If you’re coming to Kigali, look for a house, apartment, hotel, or guesthouse that has Liquid internet. Anything else is just too much to work to find another solution—especially if you have to take phone calls and online meetings late at night in the middle of a pandemic.

Today’s work station... Lovely!!! Enjoying lemon verbena iced tea while working on a short ebook about writing books that grow your business. Do you see that view in the background? Rwanda is an ideal country for a book writing retreat. My wheels have been turning since I arrived almost a month ago. If the views in Kigali are this gorgeous, I can’t wait to venture outside the capitol. Lakes, gorillas, and volcanoes are here to enjoy. This is the lifestyle I had in mind some years ago when I started on my journey towards creating a life of freedom through .
