Help your puppy navigate through their new world. Puppies aren’t mind readers and they don’t know what to do unless we teach them.

Simply telling our puppy “NO!” doesn’t provide them with any information on what we would like them to do.

Imagine going to work and your boss asks you to do a project. You don’t get any information. You present your project and your boss says “NO!” and walks away. Did you get any guidance on what to do? How do you know what you are supposed to do next? You make changes and present your project again. Your boss bow shouts “NO!”, walks away, and you can see the angriness in his face. Do you feel good? Do you know what to do? You probably feel frustrated and you likely think your boss is a mean jerk.

How do you think your puppy feels when you just say “NO!” or shout it in an angry/frustrated voice?

Victoria Stilwell shares solid advice to show your concern for others.

Wearing a mask not only shows respect for other people but shows respect to yourself. Covid-19 has recently impacted the lives of some friends of mine. Fit, healthy middle-aged individuals with no pre-existing conditions have become seriously ill with the virus. Stop the spread by wearing a mask. Practice social distancing and avoid large gatherings. This is a frightening virus with serious implications.
