VRMA 26 Nashville brought short-term vacation rental professionals together at the Music City Center for an industry conference focused on sharing new ideas, exploring innovative products and solutions, and preparing businesses for the future of vacation rentals. The event offered opportunities for education, networking, and conversations around business growth, operations, and emerging industry trends.

Our Buckalew Nashville team supported the conference across several attendee-facing assignments, including registration, wayfinding, and badge checking. From helping attendees check in to directing guests throughout the venue and checking badges, our staff helped support the conference experience and keep things moving smoothly.

Senior care leaders gathered in Las Vegas 🏨

HMP Global’s Senior Care Marketing & Sales Summit, SMASH, brought senior living professionals together at the JW Marriott Resort & Spa Las Vegas for several days focused on marketing, sales, occupancy growth, and strategies for success in the senior care industry. The event provided an opportunity for professionals to exchange ideas, learn from industry experts, and connect with others working across senior living marketing and sales.

Our Buckalew Las Vegas team supported SMASH across several different assignments, including bag stuffing, box sorting and delivery, onsite registration, material pickup, and badge scanning. From preparing materials before the event to assisting attendees onsite, our staff helped support the operational needs of the summit throughout the week.

SMASH gave our Las Vegas team another opportunity to support professionals in the senior care industry and take on a variety of behind-the-scenes and attendee-facing responsibilities. Thank you to everyone who worked this assignment and helped keep the summit organized throughout the event.

Perioperative leaders came together in Savannah 🏥

PeriOP Leader Week brought perioperative professionals and leaders together at the Savannah Convention Center for several days focused on education, leadership, and the continued development of perioperative care. The event provided opportunities for professionals across the field to learn from one another, share ideas, and connect with colleagues working toward improvements across healthcare.

Our Buckalew team supported the event in a variety of roles, including registration, Registration Scan & Go, floater coverage, speaker ready room support, and scanning. With staff spread across multiple areas of the event, our team helped with everything from attendee arrival to session access and speaker support throughout the week.

Savannah gave our staff another opportunity to work across a busy healthcare event with plenty of moving pieces. Thank you to everyone who took on each assignment and helped keep PeriOP Leader Week organized from beginning to end.

Parker Seminars brought chiropractic professionals together in Dallas for three days of education, networking, and connection with others across the industry. The event featured educational sessions, hands-on learning, and opportunities for attendees to expand their knowledge and connect with fellow professionals.

Sharing industry knowledge with the next generation 🎤

Dave Buckalew had the opportunity to speak with students at Oakridge High School about the event industry, sharing his experience and insight into the many opportunities within events and hospitality. As someone who has spent years building a career and business in the industry, Dave was able to give students a firsthand look at what it’s like to work in the field and the different paths an event career can take.

It was a great opportunity to connect with students, answer their questions, and share a little more about an industry that continues to grow and evolve.

Orthopaedic trauma professionals gathered in Nashville 🩺

The OTA Annual Meeting brought orthopaedic trauma professionals together in Nashville for education, research, professional development, and collaboration. The meeting created opportunities for physicians and other healthcare professionals to learn from one another, discuss developments across the specialty, and connect with colleagues throughout several days of programming.

Our Buckalew Nashville staff supported the meeting through registration, door monitoring, and RCFC desk coverage. These positions kept our team directly involved with attendees while also providing coverage throughout the conference spaces and helping the meeting stay organized as attendees moved between sessions and other areas of the event.

Another busy healthcare meeting has officially been added to the Nashville books for our team. We appreciate the staff who helped provide a welcoming and organized experience for everyone attending the OTA Annual Meeting.

Detroit brought the automotive industry together 🚘

Digital Dealer Conference & Expo brought dealership professionals, technology providers, and automotive industry leaders together at Huntington Place in Detroit for two days of education, networking, and conversations surrounding the changing automotive retail industry. The event featured programming focused on dealership operations, leadership, marketing, technology, and other areas shaping the future of auto retail.

Our Buckalew staff supported Digital Dealer as typists, printer clerks, and room monitors. Each of these positions helped keep different areas of the conference operating smoothly, from providing onsite assistance to keeping rooms covered and supporting the operational needs of attendees and event organizers throughout the show.

Our Detroit team was an important part of the onsite operation throughout Digital Dealer. Thank you to everyone who stepped into these roles and helped keep another busy industry conference moving from registration through the final sessions.

Bringing mental health professionals together in New Orleans 🧠

Psych Congress brought mental health professionals from across the country together in New Orleans for several days of education, discussion, and connection surrounding the behavioral health field. The conference featured educational programming and opportunities for professionals to learn from experts, exchange ideas, and connect with colleagues working across mental health.

Our Buckalew team supported the conference across several important onsite positions, including bag stuffing, material pickup, onsite registration, directional assistance, and badge checking. From helping prepare materials before attendees arrived to assisting people as they made their way through the conference, our staff were involved in several different parts of the attendee experience.

Our New Orleans team covered a lot of ground throughout Psych Congress and helped keep the conference organized from preparation through the final day. We appreciate everyone who brought their focus and flexibility to each assignment throughout the event.

Thousands of buyers and vendors came together at ASD Market Week in Las Vegas 🛍️

ASD Market Week returned to the Las Vegas Convention Center with its newly reimagined three-day format, bringing thousands of buyers and vendors together for wholesale sourcing, networking, and inventory planning. The 2026 show brought more than 19 product categories together across the North and Central Halls, creating one unified show floor for buyers to discover products and connect with suppliers.

Our Las Vegas team supported a wide range of operations throughout the show, including typists, badge pickup, line monitors, receptionists, show office, backup and renewal support, information desk, and scanners.

From the first badge pickup to navigating the show floor, our staff helped keep this massive marketplace moving.
