It was a pleasure welcoming representatives from All Nippon Airways (ANA) to Vertex Solutions’ new Orlando headquarters for a firsthand look at our mixed reality flight training capabilities. ✈️

During their visit, our team demonstrated our F-16 mixed reality flight simulator and introduced one of our newest immersive technologies designed to expand training opportunities, increase flexibility, and create more effective learning environments.

We also appreciated the opportunity to continue the conversation with a tour of ANA’s facility at the Orlando Sanford International Airport. Engagements like these allow us to exchange ideas, better understand real-world training needs, and explore how emerging technologies can support the future of aviation. 💪

Our Orlando facility was designed as a place where customers, partners, and aviation leaders can experience these technologies in action.

Military training requirements are constantly evolving.

New aircraft configurations, updated avionics, changing mission sets, and shifting student throughput requirements all place pressure on traditional training systems.

An aircraft agnostic XR cockpit solution helps address that challenge by creating a more flexible foundation for training.

This Memorial Day, we pause to remember the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

At Vertex Solutions, that remembrance carries special meaning. Many of our team members are veterans who have worn the uniform, served alongside those who made the ultimate sacrifice, and continue to support the mission long after their military service ends.

We are grateful for all who have served, for the families who stand beside them, and especially for those who never made it home.

We remember their sacrifice and honor their legacy this Memorial Day.

We had a great week at WATS 2026 in Orlando.

You know it was a successful event when our President and COO, Dennis Wikoff, was actually able to step away for a few minutes and hit the virtual links.

We’re proud to welcome Antony Hunt to Vertex Solutions as Vice President | Commercial Solutions Architecture 👏



Tony has been a driving force in commercial aviation simulation and training, known for his industry leadership with SAE and the RAeS and his role as Boeing’s Senior Technical Fellow for modeling and simulation. He helped advance XR and digital twin concepts and led the development of SimBinary simulations for the 737NG, 737MAX, and 777X, capabilities that have reshaped the industry. His contributions have been recognized with the Royal Aeronautical Society’s Flight Simulation Medal, election as a Fellow, and the commercial simulation industry’s highest recognition, the Ed Link Award in 2025.



💬 When asked what inspired you to join Vertex Solutions?



“It was going to take something very special to have me leave retirement and Vertex is just that. A company with a great pedigree in the government space, talented individuals, and a leadership team with a vision for the future. I am very excited to be sharing that journey as we offer that expertise to the commercial aviation market.”

WATS 2026 is just a few days away.

Who else is heading to World Aviation Training Summit in Orlando May 5-7?

Vertex Solutions will be on site all week, continuing the conversation around XR training and how it’s being applied in commercial aviation today.

The technology is no longer the question. It’s how you implement it, standardize it, and use it to produce more proficient pilots.
