QUÉ SIGNIFICA EL ESTATUS PROPOSED FOR WITHDRAWAL

Today, we celebrate a historic moment for Florida healthcare, primary care access, and the physicians who have dedicated their lives to serving underserved communities across our state.

First and foremost, all glory belongs to God. Without Him, none of this would have been possible.

Today marks the signing and approval of legislation that represents stability, continuity of care, and hope for hundreds of ACN physicians and the millions of patients who depend on them throughout Florida.

We want to express our deepest and most sincere gratitude to Senator Colleen Burton, whose leadership, commitment, and willingness to listen from the very beginning made this possible. Senator Burton believed in this initiative, took action, and worked tirelessly to move this legislation forward with dedication and purpose.

We also want to recognize Representative Johanna López, who believed in us, listened to our concerns, gave us the opportunity to be heard, and worked hand in hand with us in developing the first initiative that ultimately helped shape the legislative effort that became this bill.

The approval of this legislation represents years of advocacy, conversations, collaboration, research, and persistence focused on protecting healthcare access and strengthening Florida’s physician workforce.

On behalf of the Florida ACN Primary Care Coalition, thank you to Senator Colleen Burton, Representative Johanna López, and everyone involved in this effort for hearing our voices, recognizing the need, and standing behind meaningful solutions for healthcare access in Florida.

This is only the beginning.

To God be all the glory.
