Thanking Orange County Government CARES Program for additional funding to support our Central Florida Micro-businesses!
📝 A note from Hunter's Creek resident Jackie Calle Nguyenphu, owner of JCN Marketing Solutions, LLC, on receiving a micro-grant through Orange County CARES Act funding for home-based businesses:
"I wanted to take a moment to thank you for your very kind consideration and approval for the Micro Grant for my home-based business: JCN Marketing Solutions, LLC.
We are super delighted to have this economic boost for our business during these difficult times. Thank you for creating the “micro grant” sub-category, allowing so many micro-businesses to participate in the Orange County CARES funding effort. That was a truly thoughtful move. The work that Orange County Mayor Jerry L. Demings and the staff in your department have done during this pandemic-induced economic downturn to benefit our Orange County small businesses is above and beyond praise worthy.
As a resident of Orange County for the past 30 years, I have seen our area grow and develop into a top market for a wide variety of businesses and industries. It remains an area that supports and stimulates the creation of small businesses and entrepreneurs with many economic development agencies. I can honestly say that I couldn’t have picked a BETTER place to live, work, raise a family and develop my consulting firm. My firm’s mission is to continue to boost Central Florida’s small and minority-owned businesses and their entrepreneurs with the tools to start, grow and amplify their concepts."
In total, nearly $67 million have gone back to small business owners in Orange County.
