So, retirement is great.
I think.
Honestly, I am not settled into it yet, but I can see it from here.
Well, what I miss the most is seeing my peeps regularly!
So, this came across my FB feed and I thought - OMG, what a fun idea for Samhain/Halloween!
I'm not even sure where I'll be living then - or if I'll be in the middle of moving? But I could figure out something.
And anyone who has ever been around when I owned The Magickal Muse, you would know that I throw a pretty fun party!
We could do it like the 'Evil Elf' exchange that we used to do for Yule (stealing and swapping gifts), but we'll call it 'Murd🐦‍⬛r Mayhem'.
Because a gathering of crows is called a murder, but if you don't know that already, you might be uncomfortable with my kind of people 🤣
Or a 'Black Crow Auction', which I am inventing as I type.
You cast bids on open items with trinkets (provided by me), then whichever auction item gets the most 'trinkets' on the first round, is crowned the "Murd🐦‍⬛r Monarch" - refer back two sentences ago.
So, who would come to Orlando for this soiree?
Unless there's another spot, where we can have a fire...
I have two thoughts on that, I'll check.
Open to ideas - I should be able to put something together in FIVE MONTHS. Of course, I'll wait until the week before.
But the crow crown will take 5 months to perfect!

Well kids, the party's OVER.
We just sold all of our remaining stock.
All that's left is a couple of bookshelves (empty),

***a LOT of FREE WOOD if someone would help a Mama out and come take it apart!!! Free sheets of pegboard...

Everyone's always offering to help - let's see if anyone comes through 👀

Some free plastic shelving that has seen better days, but could be useful in a garage or shed.

Actually, next week would be a great time for a scavenger to set up a time to fill up a truck. Just sayin'.

**Correction**
It has been pointed out to me that my wording that "All deals have fallen through" is not entirely accurate.
The prepared candles will still be produced by a new party, who will have my customer list and notify everyone once production is set up.

Well friends, it looks like that worst case scenario has come to pass.
So, we are full steam ahead to close out Mojo Mart, which will be no more. I did everything I could.
These are uneasy times for all of us.
