Your desperation toward money is what’s keeping you broke.
Stop checking Stripe everyday. Stop obsessing over the numbers. Instead, DO something about it.
I believe the energy we put out into the world is the energy we receive in return.
I believe if all you talk about is how little money your business is making, that will continue to be your reality.
You might be saying “yeah right Lauren. But it’s not that simple.”
But, I believe it is, because I’ve BEEN where you are. On that hamster wheel of negativity and worry. To this day, I have to coach myself through it from time to time.
Here’s how I get off it, and you can too:
1) Having absolute faith in yourself (!!) that you’ll figure it out
2) Having absolute faith that the Universe/Spirit/God has your back
3) Taking ACTION. Numbers 1 and 2 only get you so far if you don’t DO anything with that faith
When’s the last time you took action? Or have you been putting off…
- Writing that email to follow up with past leads
- Reaching out to your network for referrals
- Creating a piece of content that feels authentic and speaks to your audience
- Working on your digital product or core offer
- Writing the sales page copy for your team
Every time you start to panic and ride that hamster wheel…notice the pattern of thoughts, take a deep breath, flip those thoughts on their head with my favorite mantra (everything works out for me), and then take action. Even if it’s the smallest step forward, it’s further than where you were before.
Thats the exact process I followed when I’d start to feel the desperation and panic creep in. In my experience, every time, everything ends up working out for me. Usually not in the way I imagined, but that’s the beauty in it. Hindsight is 20/20.
This is just what I believe about money in business based off personal experience and what I’ve observed. I could be wrong! So…what are your thoughts?
PS. I’ve done a looooot of mindset work over the years. I’ve managed this mindset pretty well when it comes to business. In my personal life on the other hand, not so much. I still worry about things til the sun comes up and try to control ou
