Ever feel like you’re pulling a heavy cart all by yourself?

When you walk into a lukewarm office where the "soft quitting" tension can be cut with a knife, it’s usually a symptom of a deeper issue: you’ve built a team of mercenaries working for a paycheck, rather than missionaries working for a cause.

As an Executive Coach, I help leaders bridge the gap between personal ambitions and company goals. Let's shift your culture and build an engagement routine that actually inspires.

PT:

Compartilha aqui.

End of the day. You are exhausted. Not because you produced a lot, this actually feels good. But because you have to review or re-do all your team works.

What is in your head:

'I'll just do it myself, it's faster than explaining.'

What is not…

Your team stays is waiting for your approval on everything, while you become a bottleneck slowing the company.

What could be?

Excessive centralization and a lack of effective delegation processes. The leader is stuck in operations (tactical) and abandons strategy.

How I can help you as your coach?

How about if we create a delegation system with checkpoints that ensure quality without needing to have your fingerprint in every task?

Stop just managing tasks. Start managing cycles. There is a rhythm to clearing a backlog that most professionals ignore. It keeps you from procrastinating and stops the "busy work" trap.

Its a 4 step loop.

1️⃣ Outcome: Define the finished state you need to achieve with the task.
2️⃣ Actions: Script the moves needed to get there.
3️⃣ Calendar: Time-block it. (If it doesn’t fit into reality, it doesn’t go on the list).
4️⃣ Feedback: Review, learn, and re-enter the cycle.

High-performance ex*****on often looks like you are doing less.
That’s because you aren't scattering your energy—you are focusing it.

Ready or not... here I come!

Who didn't play hide-and-seek as a kid? What a chill ran down my spine when I heard that phrase, specially when I wasn't ready yet. There was never enough time to find the perfect spot, but once the game started, the only strategy was to be as quiet as possible so nobody spotted you.

We should revisit this mindset more often and learn from our past selves. When the game starts, ready or not, we need to act as if we are. Because, if we pay enough attention, we realize we are never 100% ready. And we don't need to be.
What we actually need is to execute the strategy like we own it 101%.

After some time, you will become so good at doing the things you do, rather than just the things you want to do, that your childhood consciousness will make perfect sense.

Ready or not... Life will come. If you don’t feel ready yet, remember: Those who are ready now, at some point, simply decided to act as if they were.

This week, I want to shine a spotlight on that one decision that has been lingering long enough to become a consistent problem.

Sometimes, the issue isn't the massive fire you have to extinguish immediately. It’s that constant, low-grade burn that keeps raising the temperature in the room just above comfortable levels.

Let's work together to find ways to improve our decision-making processes, refine how we prioritize and use systems to keep ourselves accountable.

When January arrives, our plans and goals get an automatic reset. While there is certainly a commercial drive behind this atmosphere of renewal, it isn't just a magic eraser for the previous year, it is a validation that we made it through.

I see many people using the relief of the new year to simply bury the chaos of 2025. Unfortunately, for most, this just clears the ground to dig the same hole all over again by December.

My invitation is to turn these good intentions into a feasible action plan. Create a strategy that doesn't overload your agenda, but contributes to a new year that is light, bright, and truly shines.

COMPLIANCE (The High C)

The High C's are always left behind, and there is a reason for that: They have to do all the boring work that most people hate. But being backstage actually means being the first to know it all. 2026 won't be different. People will continue doing stuff randomly while the High C's let their addiction to lists become more effusive than usual.

Your motto: "I am accountable for my actions. Are you?" Your color: Blue. Because you are used to it, and who are the stars to change that? (Also, what color is better to post-it note everything? That’s right, boho yellow). Your stone: The Canadian band The Blue Stones. Because when the office closes, Rock and Roll is your thing! Advice: Your best adaptation will be into High I, so be ready to take leadership roles from time to time. But don't forget 2026 will behave like a giant comfort zone, so surround yourself with High I's and make sure they are doing their "blah-blah" stuff so you don't have to. Keep your track, do your thing, and success will come in the exact order you planned it!

STEADINESS (The High S)

2026 will be a hard year for the High S's. But you know why? Because this is exactly what you need to fulfill all your wishes of selfless giving. You will live as if the world is ending on December 31st, working every hour like it's your last. No one will be left unattended or forgotten.

Keep your eyes open for those who seek your attention just for comfort... and go there and excel, because the world needs your abilities.

Your color: Green leaf. Your stone: Emerald. Why? Because everything breathes better around you. And you know what else is green? Money. Advice: Keep that river flowing and embrace the cash opportunities. Stay focused on the High D's so they don't leave a path of torn decisions in their wake, and make sure the High C's are part of the group. Your best adaptation will be into Compliance, so be ready to take extra notes just in case. 2026 promises a lot; you are the one who will make sure it fulfills that promise (and be the shoulder to cry on when it doesn't).

INFLUENCE (The High I)

Those who behave with high Influence are benefited in 2026 by the total alignment of the bright stars. Especially in seasons where daylight is scarce, because you will shine by yourself, baby.

Nobody lights up a room like you, and this year we expect you will meet not only people but an audience! You will find friends along the way, so stay focused. That special person you are looking for (business-wise) might be right in front of your eyes, but you won't notice them unless you stop talking for five minutes!

Your color: Yellow. Sun yellow. Because we won't let bigger stars outshine us, will we? Your stone: Cobblestone. A pile of them, so you can stand on top and give an extra speech. Advice: We strongly recommend you have some High C's on your team. Repeat this mantra every day: "I will not leave things undone. I will only move to the next task after I finish the one before." Your best adaptation will be into a better self. Don't worry, 2026 will be a big stage for you.

DOMINANCE (The High D)

Those whose stars are in the constellation of Dominance, who always thump their chests about being "High D's" are in the TOP 4 for best behavior this year. (Which position exactly? I'll let you guess.)

In 2026, every meeting you participate in will be an opportunity to show people what you are made of. There is a slightly better probability than last year that people will understand you on the first attempt. Chances are that being restless will become a little less tiring, and maybe around August, the days will seem to have fewer than 18 business hours.

Your color: Red. Blood red. Especially in the eyes, because when you get your focus, you will be unstoppable. Your stone: [REDACTED] (For safety reasons, we strongly recommend keeping stones away from you). Advice: For your peace of mind and to prevent heart disease, we recommend mingling with High S people more often and letting the High I's take over the room occasionally. Your best adaptation will be into Steadiness, so take a moment to walk in other people's shoes. 2026 is THE year for sharp leadership, so grab the opportunities and don't stop until you get there!

It’s funny how the brain behaves under pressure.

I could point more than one moment when everything around me felt like it was collapsing at the same time. Deadlines, people waiting on me, expectations everywhere. I shifted into this weird tunnel vision where it felt like there was only one way out, and I had to sprint toward it. No pause. No thinking. Just “go.”

And at the time, it felt right. It felt like I was being productive, decisive, sharp.

But when I looked back… I realized I had ignored better options, skipped important details, and basically acted like a version of myself running on fumes. As my friend Hugo stated, under stress, the brain doesn’t ask for permission, it just takes shortcuts. Looks a nice auto-mode. It’s not.

What changed things for me wasn’t learning to “stay calm.” It was training my brain before the crisis — feeding it good habits, good inputs, good frameworks — so that when things get chaotic, I don’t immediately fall into that survival-mode tunnel. Training your mind with quality stuff consistently — books, conversations, reflection, better decision models, you create this mental buffer where, even when stress hits, you can still breathe before reacting. You can still choose, not just rush.

So here’s the real question:

When the pressure hits (and it always does), is your brain running on training or on panic?
