Last week, the Central Florida International Trade Office joined the UCF Business Incubator Program and the Orlando Economic Partnership in welcoming a Japanese Delegation to Orlando.

The Japanese Delegation spent several days visiting Central Florida and engaged in B2B matchmaking meeting at UCF’s Business Incubation location in Research Park.

Thank you JETRO, OEP, and, most importantly, the UCF Business Incubator Program for championing this event in Central Florida. Congratulations Rafael Caamano and Brian Bedrick for holding a successful event!

Last week, the Central Florida International Trade Office attended Plug N Play NeoCity’s Semiconductor Selection Day & Expo.

The event featured 20 startup pitches from tech companies that included some of Central Florida’s revolutionary deep-tech businesses. A special recognition to our Central Florida businesses that participated and delivered their pitches to investors at the event such as Ender Technologies, PorchLink, & Coditect.

Also, a special thanks Plug N Play for inviting CFITO to this event, and to our regional & federal partners, such as the Florida High-Tech Corridor/ Cenfluence, NASA, and the U.S. Export Assistance Center – Orlando Office, who were also present and support these businesses day-after-day.

Last week, the Central Florida International Trade Office attended the 6th Annual hospitality investor’s conference called LendingCon. The LendingCon conference and expo brought together investors, commercial lenders, supply chain vendors, and industry executives for a two-day event. CFITO supported the international segment of this event that included supporting U.S. exports!

During last week’s LendingCon Conference, the Governor of the Mexican State of Quintana Roo attended and spoke at the 2-day event, which was held at the Renaissance Hotel by Seaworld in Orlando. During her visit, the Governor, Hon. Mara Lezama Espinosa, met with investors and industry executives.

CFITO was able to speak with the Governor on trade opportunities that exist between her state and the larger Central Florida community. The LendingCon conference and expo brought together investors, commercial lenders, supply chain vendors, and industry executives for a two-day event.

Last week, the Women’s Business Enterprise Council (WBEC) held a half-day conference called “The Business Growth Shift – LIVE: Orlando. The Central Florida International Trade Office participated at this event and spoke on a panel titled: “Beyond Borders: How Businesses Are Expanding into New Markets and Global Opportunities.” Topics included topic discussions on emerging opportunities in global markets, resources for growing businesses globally, financing, market access, and real-world insights on international trade.
