🏗️ Big week for Illuminating Growth PLLC!
Our CEO Jolsna Thomas traveled to AGC’s headquarters in Virginia to participate in the AGC Round Table — a dynamic exchange of best practices among members and chapters — and to lead the Culture of Care Committee meeting.
The round table sparked powerful conversations about workforce development and community impact across the construction industry. That same energy carried into our committee meeting, where we celebrated accomplishments, sharpened our strategy, and aligned on priorities for the future of the industry. đź’ˇ
This is what it looks like when leaders come together with purpose. Proud to be at the table. 🙌

As DEI programs shift, women’s advancement doesn’t disappear—it evolves.

Grateful to BizWomen / The Business Journals for elevating this conversation and for including my perspective alongside Michelle Lawless and Hillary Spreizer. From my work advising construction firms and nonprofits, one thing is clear: influence is built through impact, alignment, and relationships—often beyond formal structures.

Clarity is not passive — it’s a leadership decision.

In today’s Business Journals article on Why the most effective leaders focus on clarity, not control, Founder Thomas shared how simplifying priorities, clarifying nonnegotiables, and removing low-value work helped teams stay focused and avoid burnout.
