🔥 THE ROSS FIRE IS A SOBERING REMINDER: WILDFIRE RISK DOESN’T WAIT FOR AN INVITATION.
The Ross Fire in North Texas has exploded across more than 90,000 acres, with crews still fighting the blaze and containment around 31%. The fire has spread rapidly through extremely dry vegetation and difficult conditions.
And while that fire is hundreds of miles from Florida, it’s a good reminder to take a look at what’s happening on your own property.
We’ve had plenty of lightning recently, and after an unusually dry winter, vegetation can become a serious source of fuel. Dense palmettos, dry brush, dead limbs, vines, overgrown fence lines and heavy undergrowth can all make a property harder to manage if conditions turn dry.
You don’t have to wait until there is a fire nearby to do something about it.
Ormond Land Clearing can evaluate your property and help reduce excessive vegetation, clear underbrush, remove unwanted growth, improve access and create a more manageable area around homes, outbuildings and other structures.
This isn’t about stripping your property bare. It’s about getting ahead of the fuel before it becomes a problem.
