As a woman in Corporate America working in IT for more than 20 years, I have been the only woman, the only POC, the only married woman, only woman with children and sometimes all of the above. Every time it was pointed out, it was followed by some statement that was offensive. If I had spent my time responding to all the comments, I would be angry and frustrated.
My experience has allowed me to offer a perspective to organizations that they may not be able to conclude without my voice.
Today, as an organization strategist and leadership coach to senior staff, I am able to develop a path to tackle issues such as career and staff development, barriers that impact diversity and inclusion and develop corporate outreach strategies creating aligned corporate values.
My framework for organization transformation equips servant leaders to make mindset shifts, align their values and emerge as powerful leaders who motivate and inspire their teams while creating a work culture that is equitable for all its employees.
