Wow 🤩💙🤍💙🤩
What an incredibly emotional couple of weeks it has been for us! When we closed the store, Dan was faced with numerous options… would we sell the business? The equipment? The inventory? But in true spirit, he chose to give back to the community that has given him so much! As promised, he generously donated all possible items to the GV Baseball, Softball, and Soccer Rec Leagues. Then, we met with Dr. Nye and Mrs. Cozad from Grand Valley Local Schools on Wednesday, and Dan made the remarkable announcement that he would be donating almost all of the remaining inventory, including clothing, materials, and the Roland printer, to the school! By Friday, the store was emptied, thanks to the incredible efforts of the Mustang Stable and a few dedicated students! We are talking tens of thousands of dollars worth of items, including over 2,000 shirts and sweatshirts, hundreds of hats, a ton of shorts, two presses, almost a hundred rolls of vinyl, organizers, racks, and a ton of miscellaneous sports gear, not to mention a bunch of Mustang prints to continue spreading school spirit! 💙🤍💙 As Dan’s wife, I am truly humbled by his selfless act, as he continues to pay it forward to the community that has shaped him into the person he is today. The decision to close the store was undoubtedly tough, but we firmly believe it was the right one, and we are committed to supporting the school and the community whenever possible! We would also like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our exceptional staff, who have been instrumental in making this transition possible in just two weeks! 💙🤍💙
