The Ride for Freedom means a little more to us this year.
After the passing of our friend Dan Barber, we made the decision to rename the Ride For Freedom, Dan Barber's Ride for Freedom.
Dan was a big part of our Surdyke Yamaha family and the Lake of the Ozarks community, and we can’t think of a better way to honor his memory than by continuing an event centered around giving back to those who have given so much for all of us.
On Sunday, September 13, we’ll come together on the water for the Ride for Freedom, raising money to support local Veterans and First Responders.
With the Ride just one week away, we’re asking our friends, customers, and community to help us make this year’s event one to remember.
If you have a boat or PWC, we’d love to have you join us. And if you’re a Veteran or First Responder who wants to participate but doesn’t have a boat or PWC, please reach out to us. We have a limited number of boats and PWCs available so you can join the ride, too.
If you can’t make it on the water, you can still be a part of what we’re doing. Any donation, big or small, helps us support our local Veterans and First Responders and continue what this event stands for.
Thank you to everyone who has already registered, donated, sponsored, volunteered, or helped spread the word.
Let’s make this Ride one to remember for Dan! ♥🇺🇸
