Wayne Township Fire Department, took possession of their brand new Custom Fire Light Walk-In Rescue this week!

Purchased through Sourcewell and built on a Ford F-550 chassis, this rescue packs a lot of capability into a compact footprint. The walk-in body provides additional crew seating, while the exterior is built around usable storage with adjustable shelving, slide-out trays, transverse compartments, wheel-well SCBA bottle storage, and a custom four-drawer toolbox.

Last Friday, we had the pleasure of welcoming the Tomahawk Fire Department to Custom Fire to take delivery of their new enclosed top-mount pumper.

Built on a Spartan Gladiator chassis, Engine 3 features a 1,500gpm Waterous pump, 1,250 gallon water tank, 525hp Cummins engine, and seating for six. Tomahawk also packed this build with plenty of thoughtful storage and equipment solutions designed around how their department operates.

Thank you to the Tomahawk Fire Department for trusting Custom Fire with your new Engine 3. We appreciate the opportunity to build for your department and hope it serves the Tomahawk community for many years to come!

Another Full Response® is officially headed home! 🔥

Congratulations to Necedah Fire & Rescue on the delivery of their new Custom Fire Full Response® Pumper!

Built on a Kenworth T480 chassis, this apparatus features a 450hp PACCAR PX-9 engine, 1,500gpm Waterous fire pump, a 1,250-gallon UPF water tank, and seating for five.

Necedah also packed this truck with some seriously useful storage and functionality, including adjustable compartment shelving, pull-out trays, custom slide-out tool storage, a swing-out tool board, rear access ladders, and plenty more.

Thank you to the members of Necedah Fire & Rescue for trusting Custom Fire with your new apparatus. We hope 762 serves your department and community well for many years to come!

It’s a busy morning here at Custom Fire!

We’re proud to be hosting the Osceola Wheels & Wings Pancake Breakfast right here at our facility this morning! 🏎️✈️

Osceola is home for us, and we love getting the opportunity to open our doors and be part of a great community event like this.

Today, we remember the 2,977 lives lost on September 11, 2001, including the 343 FDNY firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice while answering the call.

We remember their courage, their service, and the families, departments, and communities forever changed by that day.

Twenty-five years later, we will never forget.

Eight trucks. One relationship that goes all the way back to the beginning. 🔥

Iron River Fire Department is officially taking home their newest Custom Fire apparatus, and this delivery is an especially meaningful one for us.

Iron River was one of Custom Fire’s very first customers, and decades later, they have continued to put their trust exclusively in our team. This new Commercial Pumper Tender marks their 8th Custom Fire apparatus!

Built on a Kenworth T480 chassis, Tender 1 is powered by a 450 HP PACCAR PX-9 and features a 1,250 GPM Waterous pump, 2,100 gallon UPF water tank, and plenty of compartment space built around the department’s needs.

While they were here, we even had the chance to pull out some old photos and look back at a few of the Custom Fire trucks that came before this one. Seeing that history alongside their newest apparatus was a pretty special reminder of just how long this partnership has lasted.

To everyone at the Iron River Fire Department, thank you for trusting Custom Fire not just once, but eight times. Relationships like this mean a lot to us, and we’re proud to see Tender 1 become the newest chapter in a story that started with us all those years ago.

New Glarus Fire Department has a new Engine 3! 🔥

This new Custom Fire Tandem Axle Pumper/Tender is officially headed home to New Glarus, Wisconsin!

Built on a Spartan Gladiator chassis and powered by a 605 HP Cummins X15, Engine 3 pairs a 1,500 GPM Waterous fire pump with 2,350 gallons of water - along with plenty of compartment space and smart storage built around the department’s equipment and needs.

From the drop-down ladder and portable tank storage, to the adjustable shelving and pull-out trays, there’s a lot packed into this rig.
