Grateful. Humbled. Proud.

Being named the 2026 Ohio Auctioneer Champion is something I’ve dreamed about since my early days watching the greats and learning under the legendary Steve Andrews. This moment represents years of preparation, mentorship, and a deep respect for the craft of live auctioneering.

Competitive auctioneering sharpens every detail—cadence, clarity, timing, composure, and the ability to perform when the pressure is on. Those lessons carry over every time I step into the auction ring, whether it’s a high-energy sale or a once-in-a-lifetime event.

I’m thankful for the friendships and memories made along the way, especially the camaraderie in the sequester room—equal parts nerves, excitement, and laughter. Watching the next generation of competitors reminds me how strong our profession is and how high the bar continues to rise.

Congratulations to Jack Adelman, Junior Champion, and Mike Brandly, newly inducted into the Hall of Fame—both well deserved.

While this closes one chapter of competition, my appreciation for the auction industry and the people in it only grows. I look forward to continuing to support contests, competitors, and the craft that brings buyers and sellers together through transparent, competitive bidding.

East Coast 2 year old sale was a huge success

After much anticipation and excitement the 1st 2yr old sale is in the books and the average came to 15,400.

On a further note we are set up and ready for about 140 Yearlings to sell today
