Celebrating 5 years of the Digital Marketing Clinic! 🎉

Since 2021, the DMC has had the opportunity to support hundreds of small businesses across Wisconsin through hands-on and student-powered consulting.

Being part of this program means helping real entrepreneurs strengthen their online presence, share their stories, and grow their impact in their communities. It’s been inspiring to watch entrepreneurs gain confidence in their marketing and take steps forward with stronger strategies and support behind them. So proud of how far the DMC has come!

The Digital Marketing Clinic had an awesome day at the Small Business Clinic hosted by the Universities of Wisconsin Office of Business & Entrepreneurship!

Despite the cold, more than 80 entrepreneurs showed up ready to learn and grow. Our student consultants met 1:1 with small business owners and provided valuable digital marketing guidance, including reviewing websites and online presence, identifying quick wins to improve SEO and user experience, helping refine social media and content strategies, and providing each owner with clear, actionable next steps.

Shoutout to Ella Roux and Temiloluwa Kayode-Ojo for an excellent presentation on the Small Business Survival Guide for Digital Marketing Success!

A great night with Women in Technology Wisconsin (WiT) last Thursday! Kathy Fredrickson and student consultant Carleen Meyer attended the TechBloom Holiday Soiree, an evening focused on creativity and connection to close out the year. They made festive holiday arrangements, and Carleen even won a facial from the Remedy Collective!

Proud to continue that mission locally through WIT on Campus and support students entering the tech space.

Celebrating our DMC student consultant Connor on his graduation this past weekend! 🎓

The office won’t be the same without the jokes, golf during brain breaks, or the nonstop laughs he brought to the team. Connor made every day more fun, and we’re incredibly proud of all he’s accomplished. We can’t wait to see where he goes next!

Last Friday, our team spent the day at Waukesha County Technical College consulting with small business owners at the Small Business Clinic. We helped answer marketing questions, offered website and social media advice, and learned a lot from the conversations along the way.

A special shoutout to Ella Roux and Connor Walsh for leading an engaging presentation on the Digital Marketing Survival Guide, full of practical takeaways for entrepreneurs looking to grow online!

The DMC team was honored to share how our student-run clinic got started, our mission and values, and the initiatives we’re building to support small businesses. A huge thank you to WEDA for inviting us to be part of the conversation on scaling high-impact student agencies.
