How it started.
I started booking and promoting music back in 2015. I just basically advocated bands I wanted to see in the area. After not seeing any alterative sounds and seeing the same old cover bands I decided to start doing some of the booking myself. The first band I booked was a band called Earth to Clark from Beloit, WI that I had met at a music festival the year before. I was really impressed with their songwriting and was persistent on getting them up on a stage anywhere. Sometimes you come across something special and you want other people to experience that, and that's really where the roots of GLP productions started. Before starting the company I was just a guy who had contacts and a couple venues who where willing to work with me. So how does this lead to GLP productions? After having some experience promoting and booking a handful of artists I decided to switch my major at school and focus on managing the arts. While attending school I was required to make a mock company to put my skills to the test. After talking with some other students and my professor I was encouraged to start GLP productions.
