I had been asked last week by a dear friend, if I would still do updates on the 2026 Terrel Vineyard Memorial Scholarship painting.. I had started a large 3'x3' canvas awhile back.... Just was NOT working... The dimensions were all wrong for the landscape scene I had in mind... , Soooo there's a new board cut and fine sanded... It's larger longer to accommodate the meadow..

I said in the post picture pages I'm currently not buying any raw furniture... however, I'm currently in the casual looking stage for :
Cheap Old saddles in disrepair. Looking for 10--15 NON- usable saddles, they can have cracked leather and part of the leather gone.....this is for an idea I have that I've wanted to do for many years

Last week, I took a short mini vacation back to NM , one of the stops was to the ranch that as a wee little kid, I was introduced to the smell of sagebrush and rain on red dirt... vanilla Pine trees, the love for cattle, the wildness of the open land... And creativity... Art from the land everywhere you look... It was an incredible tour both in the present, and in the memories in my mind.

Long ways left to go on the wood burning design in the wood tray, I just grabbed it up for a fast lightweight project to work on today... Yesterday finished the tiered table.. and came home to a non-welcome rattlesnake.. so glad it wasn't around a few weeks ago with so many people here for the Event.

Delivered the cool antique Mint green bedframe to Scottsbluff today... And on the way back, I stopped to get my marketplace find.... For many years, I've been wanting a professional easel... I had no idea it would be this tall... Pretty big project coming up in the future that it will be handy to have.. The drought continues, and moving the heifers around for the summer.. Still haven't totally gotten the building put back togeather since Frontier Finds event..
