Making memories through the power of music. ❤️🎶

Yesterday, we had the absolute joy of surprising one of our hospice patients with something very special. She has always had a love for the music of the 1940s–1960s and the Big Band era, so we wanted to bring a little bit of that magic right into her home! ✨

We partnered with a talented local musician, Aidan Sarmiento, who filled her home with beautiful music, cherished melodies, and so many smiles.

There’s something incredibly special about music—it can bring back memories, tell stories, and connect us to moments from long ago. We were honored to create a moment that was all about her, the music she loves, and the joy it brought to her home. 💕

This is what hospice is all about: not just adding days to life, but adding life to the days.

We are so grateful to be part of these precious moments and to have the opportunity to make a little magic for the people we are so privileged to serve. ❤️

We had the best time taking one of our hospice patients and her daughter out for a little lunch date at Bonefish Grill! Sometimes all you need is good food, great company, and a little Bang Bang Shrimp to make the day extra special 😋🍤

At Advanced Hospice, we love helping our patients get out, enjoy their favorite things, spend time with the people they love, and make memories along the way. Because hospice is about living — and making every moment count! 💙

At 96 years young, every moment with family is a gift. ❤️

We had the privilege of taking one of our hospice patients to enjoy a special meal at Cracker Barrel with her sister. Growing up together on a farm in Illinois, they shared stories, laughter, and memories that have lasted a lifetime. It’s an honor to help create meaningful moments like these with the people who matter most.

At Advanced Hospice, we believe every moment matters.

Recently, we had the incredible privilege of helping one of our hospice patients and his family create memories that will last a lifetime. ❤️

Their day began with a delicious family meal at V’s Italiano Ristorante in Independence before heading to an unforgettable Kansas City Royals game. Thanks to this amazing experience, he not only enjoyed the game from premier seats, but also had the opportunity to meet players and go out onto the field—something he and his loved ones will never forget.

Hospice care is about so much more than medical support. It’s about honoring dreams, creating meaningful experiences, and making every moment count with the people who matter most.

We are so grateful to V's Italiano Ristorante and the Kansas City Royals for helping make this special day possible, and we are honored to be part of our patients’ journeys.

A Wish Come True

One of our hospice patients recently had the chance to spend time with animals he loved most. Surrounded by family, he enjoyed a special day at a local petting zoo filled with smiles, laughter, and meaningful memories.

Moments like these remind us that every day is an opportunity to make a difference.
