We have recently received reports that a known scam or impersonation account on Instagram and Facebook is now using both the LotteryHUB and images from Shoutz, Inc offices, corporate or brand logos.
Shoutz, Inc., company that brings you both LotteryHUB official and free mobile application of Powerball and MegaMillions and Powercode,under any circumstance, will NOT contact our users through social media for prizes and we NEVER ask for money as an exchange for rewards or personal information.
If you are being contacted and asked for money, personal information, credit card numbers or online accounts, please do not engage in communication with them and report their handle or entity to your Social Account provider (Facebook or Instagram) or the FBI immediately (https://complaint.ic3.gov/default.aspx). Beware of these scams, as these entities are using our intellectual property (our logo), creating fake websites and using false telephone numbers.
Be aware that this scam is evolving and changing, including changing it's name and picture to impersonate not only our brands but also our company's likeness.
In the event our users are actual winners of any sort of prize from LotteryHUB or Powercode, they will be contacted directly by Shoutz, Inc. and through the corporate Shoutz.com email domain. In addition, the only personal information Shoutz, Inc. would ever ask for is for IRS reporting purposes, done only through private email and never through social media platforms.
