The Cheney Police Department reported that 76-year-old Martha Brenneis was located and is in good condition. The statewide silver alert is now canceled. Thanks for your assistance during the alert.

PLEASE SHARE - STATEWIDE SILVER ALERT
The Cheney Police Department requested the Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) issue a statewide Silver Alert for a missing Cheney woman.

The whereabouts of 76-year-old Martha Brenneis are unknown, and public assistance is requested to help locate her.

Brenneis is likely driving a black 2019 Dodge Caravan bearing Kansas tag 1207ACD. She was last seen at her residence in Cheney on Nov. 27, at approximately 8 a.m.

Brenneis is a white female who is around 5 foot 1 inch tall and weighs approximately 120 pounds. She has white hair and light hazel eyes.

If you see Brenneis, or her vehicle, please call 911 immediately. If you have other information about her whereabouts, please call the Cheney Police Department at (316) 542-3173.

NEW INFORMATION 🚨 Federal authorities say Juan Ralios-Batz, a Guatemalan man wanted in Seward County on multiple child r**e charges, is now being helped by family and friends to evade capture, prompting ICE and DHS to join the manhunt.

The U.S. Marshals Service shared on September 2 that Ralios-Batz and his sister are alleged to have sponsored a 13-year-old unaccompanied child and, over a two-year period, Batz allegedly r**ed the child and forced the child to do manual labor.

“We would like to issue a warning to the illegal community in Western Kansas: any individual with no legal immigration status found to be harboring or aiding this fugitive will face immediate legal consequences, including potential deportation and/or criminal charges,” the agency told KAKE News on Wednesday. “ICE and DHS personnel are now involved in the case and will have an increased presence in the area until the subject is apprehended.”

Anyone with information regarding his location is urged to contact the U.S. Marshals at 1-877-WANTED-2 or send tip information via the USMS Tips App.
