For many years, the most read pages of The Banner were the church report pages. It was the way the Churches of God (Holiness) kept in touch, but in recent years those pages often have been all but non-existent, largely because of a lack of news being sent to Herald and Banner. At the same time, however, staying in touch through social media networks has skyrocketed. In analyzing how to make the Ba
nner a real source of news among the churches again, the decision has been made to launch a Herald and Banner page. The goal is to have people post activities that are going on in their local churches on the Herald and Banner page, along with pictures of the events. Thus the page would become, in part, a church news center. All articles and pictures found on the site become the source for print material for The Banner.
