Did you know that magenta, cyan, and yellow are the secondary colors of light? 🎨

They are formed by mixing two of the three primary colors of light, red, green, and blue, in equal amounts. Red and green light combine to make yellow, green and blue make cyan, and blue and red make magenta. This process follows the additive color model, which describes how light behaves when different wavelengths are combined.

When it comes to emergency lighting, understanding the difference between UL 924 and UL 1008 is key to staying compliant and keeping people safe:

Tony Hatler from our Contractor Sales team shared this simple trick we often use in the field, and one you probably use yourself based on the Pythagorean Theorem:

-Measure 3 feet along your angled wall
-Then go 4 feet out at a right angle
-If the distance between those two points is exactly 5 feet, you’ve got a 90-degree angle!

This classic 3-4-5 method is a quick and reliable way to know when working on an angled wall!
